Paul Tate - BSc FCA

Paul has been with the firm for a number of years now. We utilise his many areas of interest and expertise specifically systems and international Accounting. Paul graduated from Manchester University with a BSc in Mathematics. Trained and qualified (ACA 1981) with Touche Ross & Co (Now Deloitte Touche). In 2003/2004 he successfully campaigned to enable his local exchange with broadband and has subsequently created the UK’s largest (by area) community broadband network in the Wychwood Forest, Oxfordshire.

As the interim Controller for a UK subsidiary of a US consultancy, Paul looked after the day to day accounting including both a consultancy practice and a pan European conference business with heavy regard to the resulting EU VAT issues.

During 2006-2008 Paul was President of the Thames Valley Society of Chartered Accountants as well as being a Member of ICAEW South East Regional Strategy Board.

In his spare time Paul is a fervent supporter of Burnley Football Club and has a keen interest in Motorsport events such as Touring cars and F1. Paul is married with two daughters.
